G.K.G.


Gibran Khalil Gibran, one of the greatest Lebanese artists, is particularly known for his book The Prophet (1923), which has been translated into more than twenty different languages. Several contemporary Lebanese writers have also achieved international success; including Elias Khoury, Amin Maalouf, Hanan al-Shaykh, and George Schehadé.
